I have been following up on what has been happening at the Daily Vacation Bible School.
The teacher recently narrated a story about a boy named Peter who had been sent to the shop and lost some money on his way home.
The teacher asked the kids – what would you do if you found the money that Peter had lost and you knew it was Peter who lost it?
My sweet bold Kendi raises her hand and says
“Teacher, I would take the money and buy lollypop!”
Okay- too innocent- I was told the class burst out laughing.
Well, looks like we need to do more training on that area. We hardly give our kids lolly-pops and when they bump into them in the supermarket, they say "Hi lolly-pops" talk of kids and getting your attention!
We always in return ask them to say "bye lolly-pops" and they obediently wave goodbye.... I guess wondering why their trick didn't work.
So, I guess this is the ONE thing she would LOVE to do-just get hold of money and buy the lolly-pops!
