Today, I have so many things to thank God for. I do not even know where to start.
I will start with two sets.
First: My family, I thank God for each and every member of the Makuthi’s family, they are all darlings! I am grateful to God for His divine purpose over this family. We are truly NOTHING without God. We find our identity in Him.
Secondly: I thank God for all the Mums and Mums to be. I thank God for their daily strength in whichever capacity. They are doing great jobs-sometimes we as Mums wonder if all the sacrifice will count- yes it will. Hold on. Thanks for being part of my life in this journey, each one of you play a big part in my life.
I thank God for Rosemary, Sylvia, Gladwel, Zippy, Kate, Candace, Jennifer, Nelly, Mercy, Shiro, Njeri, Dorothy, Diana, Janice, Catherine, Ann-Levi, Lucky, Alice, Nyawira, Sheila, Charity, Elizabeth, and all the other Mums (I am listing Mums who have children under five, whose names I can remember) because I may not at the moment remember all the names.
Let’s keep praying for each other as Mums and truly mean it. Motherhood is warfare. Remember God desires a Godly generation and we have an enemy who is working overtime to counter that.
This song comes to mind
“I will be standing in the gap for you
Just remember someone somewhere, is praying for you
Calling out your name, praying for your strength
I will be standing in the gap for you”
