Salute!

Had breakfast this morning at Java Adams with awesome Mums. They were all on time for breakfast - absolutely amazing at 7am! I  salute these Mums and a Mum to be. Zippy is the Mum to be, Kate is Mum to an awesome boy-Leone(9 months), Gladwell is a great Mum to Hope(3 Months), Sly is a sweet Mum to Samara ( 15 months) and Rosemary a great Mum to AJ ( 4 Months). This are lovely ladies who are dedicated to their kids and families and i like their zeal for life and motherhood. It was refreshing to have breakfast with them, to share a few things and encourage each other as we go through this journey of motherhood.
They will all agree with me that we also salute our hubbies as well for taking care of the babies while we were enjoying some great breakfast at Java. Thanks for choosing to take care of the babies and giving us some time to just breath. We need it just o keep sane you know. I think when Mums are happy, families are happy too. I would  encourage other hubbies to give sometime to their wives as well to just breath. Its Naturally refreshing. I am looking forward to a great Saturday with my family i hope you are too!

  1. Oh yeah Emma, that was a lovely early morning with the gals..the young, energetic mums. I was also amazed that Gladwell and Rosemary with very young babies were actually the first ones to arrive before 7a.m. what a challenge and commitment. I agree, happy mums make happy homes and families. It was quite refreshing just to sit and talk.

Then after breakfast Zippy, mum to be and Gladwell( mum to Hope) accompanied me to our kids furniture store and really encouraged me to press on with the business and actually purchased some items. Isn't it nice to just have friends, mums who stand with you in this life's journey. Thanks gals and looking forward to our holiday together and the many more breakfasts.

To our beloved hubbies, thank you for allowing us some time to breathe, its really refreshing. Am looking forward to hanging out with Samara after close of business at 1pm as we look forward to having my beloved husband Alex home tomorrow after 3 nights away. Am doing countdown. Enjoy the weekend!

  2. It was indeed a wonderful though rainy morning that was. I really thank God that we were able to just sit enjoy and learn from each other in this journey of motherhood.

It was not easy for me to wake up that morning knowing that I could not be late, it actually allowed me to appreciate that my hubby wakes up that early every day to go to work believe me I snoozed several times.

As Sly said it was great to just be out without the baby and with the assurance of his dad being home..I took advantage and even wore a dress that I wouldn't wear if I was to breastfeed.

I had a great time with the mums thanks all.
