-My sweet one- Holding barely two weeks old Ethan-
For those of you, who know, my hubby has always loved, really loved music
and still does. Actually by the time I met him, he was the worship leader in
campus, and he is very good especially with choirs! He plays almost all instruments!
Really- Yes he does!
He continued to lead worship in our church until the day Kendi was born! And
he decided to take a break from all church related singing activities and concentrate
on taking care of the children. Almost five years down the line, and now that
our current last ( the one he is holding above) is now a year and a half, we think it’s time he goes back to serving
in music and he is open to it too.
I am personally looking forward to
that, and he has my full support, he has sacrificed five years of music and leading
worship in Church, he could have rusted a bit in terms of playing instruments, but he is a sharp one, he will pick up soon. Sure, there is a time for everything under the sun. I thank
God that my hubby understood that I needed his extra support in the last five
years and he wholeheartedly gave that support.
We plan to be accompanying him sometimes, for the practice sessions on Saturday
hopefully the kids can pick on that talent too. More so, I think these would be
great memories for the children as well.
I believe you are right -- the memories for your children will help them grow their own talents for the music their father loves. They will come to understand why David wrote in five different Psalms - 'make a joyful noise'!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful support your husband is to you. Hope gets back in the groove of music in no time.
