I discovered it is
easier to have my girls’ hair made in our house rather than take them to the
salon. I just need to put on an interesting kids DVD on and before they know it
the hair is done. This makes my life a bit sane. At the salon, it takes ages,
they fidget, they ask for all sorts of things and they get irritable and
tired so fast. So this works. I got someone who comes and now I have two
because we have started braiding Tanas’ hair as well.
Watching a Christian Kids DVD as hair is being braided
showing of their heads to Daddy...
A first for Tana
A very happy girl. She could not wait for hair to be made.
What a neat solution! The girls get an extra Christian lesson in a familiar setting while being comfortable and focused. That's a double blessing, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteAhh they look adorable! Nice.. I am coming to Kenya maybe you will give me the saloon lady's number for my daughter.. she has never been braided.. we cannot afford it over here-- too expensive!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I miss braiding my daughter's hair. She's 17 now. Where does the time go? God Bless
